Kate Konrad

Kate is the music specialist at Trumble Park Elementary in the Papillion-LaVista Public Schools, where she teaches Kindergarten through sixth grade. She also directs two extra-curricular ensembles: choir, and an Orff-Schulwerk Honors Ensemble. Before her time in Papillion-LaVista, she was an elementary music specialist in the Millard Public Schools.

Kate earned her Bachelor’s Degree in music education from the University of Nebraska Omaha, and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in music education. She has obtained her Orff-Schulwerk Levels I, II, and III and is an Orff-Schulwerk certified teacher.

Kate is also actively involved in the Great Plains chapter of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association and serves as Secretary of the board.

Kate enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a music teacher, and two children. She is eager to begin her work with the youngest students of Sing Omaha!
